However, we also use this week as a time for us to rest, reflect, rejuvenate & renew our commitment to creating a better life for ourselves & everyone that we meet.

Physical Health (Body)
Mental/Emotional Health (Mind)

Social Relationships
Our Society
The Environment
Inner Peace is World Peace
It has been said by many of the significant teachers in our history that all great & long-lasting change occurs within. In other words, you must be that change internally before it will manifest externally. Dr. Jay has found that the surest & simplest way to create positive change in our lives is to make sure that the most important lifeline, your spinal cord, is functioning at its potential.Excess stress distorts the flow of Life through your spinal cord. Distort the flow of Life through your cord and you distort the expression of health in your body, mind & spirit. Here are a few early signs that the most important Life line of them all, your spinal cord, is being compromised:
Brain fog & difficulty concentrating
Feelings of overwhelm
Low energy or feelings of fatigue & exhaustion
Racing mind
Irritability, frustration & loss of patience over “little things”
Physical tension, aches or pain
Difficulty going with the flow
Anxiety & excess worry
Digestive issues (irritability, discomfort, not having daily bowel movements or bloating)
Depression or feelings of not belonging - Fish out of water sensation
If you have any of the above, you are defiantly not getting the most out of your life. When ignored, these signs of excess stress can become dangerous, long term health & wellness issues. The Intention Wellness Center will show you the way!Join us this year & let Dr. Jay, Karola & Danielle help you to be that change that you wish to see in your world. As you heal on the inside & learn to adapt more effectively to everything on the outside, you will see positive changes ripple into everything you think, say or do. Here are a few ways that you can join us to create awesome changes for yourself & the world in 2012:
Keep your regular appointments. At a cost of less than $1.75 a day for most, this is the easiest way to make sure that Life energy is flowing freely through your spinal cord & into every aspect of your body, mind & spirit. (Remember: Dr. Jay’s healing sessions can be performed at a distance)

Spinal Cord Processes Information Just as Areas of Brain Do, Research Finds

ScienceDaily (Mar. 23, 2011) — Patrick Stroman’s work mapping the function and information processing of the spinal cord could improve treatment for spinal cord injuries.

“Basic physiology books describe the spinal cord as a relay system, but it’s part of the central nervous system and processes information just like parts of the brain do,” explains Dr. Stroman, director of the Queen’s MRI Facility and Canada Research Chair in Imaging Physics.  Read More

Dr. Jay’s Note:  This research supports my findings using The Intention Wellness Method & should be exciting for any chiropractor or holistic health care practitioner who uses the spinal cord as the cornerstone of their healing art.

Adjustments Improve Brain Function

Nice to see research that supports what we see happen in our office every day!! :)

bentl3y:

A study conducted over a 3 year period finds that chiropractic adjustments have a positive effect on the Central Nervous System, particularly on it’s major component, the brain.

Brain function is measured in 4 primary frequencies (or waves): Beta, Alpha, Theta & Delta.

How’s Your 2011 Going So Far?

We are one month into the New Year & if you are like most in our society, your 2011 has settled back into the familiar routine of years past. Did you want to make improvements this year? Less stress? Better health? More happiness? Increased opportunity for success?

Millions of people create New Year’s Resolutions each year with the intention of improving their life. Research studying the success rate of New Year’s Resolutions indicates that only 8-12% are successful by years end. A large number of these resolutions do not survive the first few weeks of the year & the majority of all resolutions are scaled back or abandoned completely by the end of January.

Why?

All of us can relate to failed resolutions or unattained goals at some point in our lives. Maybe we think too big, create high expectations & set ourselves up for failure. Truth is; if it is not easy, most will not do it.

Sound familiar? Don’t worry, here is great news for you:

It’s not to late to assure yourself of getting more out of life in 2011.

You see, getting more out of life shouldn’t be a difficult task. In fact, improving your life, no matter your current condition, is incredibly easy. Here are 7 easy-to-do tips to improve your life based on Dr. Jay’s Seven Keys to True Wellness. Any one of these seven, when used separately, will create positive change in your life. Incorporate all seven into your lifestyle & you will witness miracles!

Wellness Tip #1 - Breathe Your Way to True Wellness

Wellness Tip #2 - Are You Sick or Just Thirsty?

Wellness Tip #3 - Healing Foods

Wellness Tip #4 - The Happy Place Method

Wellness Tip #5 - The Shoulder Squeeze

Wellness Tip #6 - Sleep Posture

Wellness Tip #7 - Restoring Proper Tone

The word tone has many meanings. For example, tone can be used to describe sound or color. It can be used to characterize the attitude of a crowd, express the feeling in a speech or the mood of written words. Tone can also be used to detail the state of the human body.

When pertaining to sound, tone is used to describe the quality or character of that sound. For example, a properly tuned guitar string will respond to being strummed by giving off a pleasant tone. However, if you were to ever so slightly tighten or loosen that string, it would not be able to respond to being strummed in the same way. Even an untrained ear would be able to identify this immediate negative change in tone. Thus, maintaining a high quality of tone is essential for musicians to perform at or near their potential.

This guitar string example is a perfect analogy for describing how our lives work. When our overall tone is at its potential, we are able to respond to whatever the world throws our way in an efficient & healthy way. When our tone is out of balance, we can no longer adapt to our environment properly & poor health begins to surface.

The key to maintaining proper tone is within your spinal cord. Chiropractor Dr. Jay Weber, at The Intention Wellness Center in Tustin, Ca., is currently the only holistic health practitioner that specializes in gently restoring your spinal cord to its natural state so that you can regain optimal tone. This work allows his clients to heal, adapt & reach their potential all for less than $1.80 a day or about half the cost of what most spend on their daily cup of coffee. Make Your 2011 Fantastic!

Getting more out of life does not have to be a challenge. A few simple shifts in your lifestyle can have a dramatic effect on everything you do. Enjoy the changes!!
